depend on speech pathologists to asses and diagnose various speeches, hearing
and even swallowing problems among adults and children. Some of these problems
may stem from birth defects, such as cleft palate, while others are more
emotional nature, such as stuttering. Hospital speech pathologists also work
with older people who’ve had strokes.
